PRO13 Joins Simultaneous Launching of PNP PGS Institutionalization

Camp Rodriguez, Libertad, Butuan City--- As a way of commitment for an Institutionalized PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030, Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 joined in the nationwide launching of the PNP Performance Governance System (PGS) Institutionalization here on Friday, April 20, 2018.
The activity was participated by the PRO13 Technical Working Group for Police Transformation and Development, Regional Advisory Council, Advisory Council members of Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 13, Regional Police Strategy Management Unit 13 and PRO13 headquarters personnel.
Highlights of the launching were the lighting of PGS torch and lecture on Good Governance by Atty. Mary Christine Salise-Punzalan, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer of Carmen, Agusan del Norte as resource speaker.
“Our PNP Chief will soon present the performance governance report of the organization to the panel of local and international experts probably in July 2018 for the final stage of the PGS---the institutionalization, by which we aim for the gold eagle award,” CHIEF SUPT NOLI ROMANA, PRO13 director said.
PRO13 had been conferred with the “Proficient Status” after satisfactorily completing all the mandatory elements for the third stage of PGS on January 15, 2018 and received the gold eagle, the highest award given in any stage of the PGS.
“Despite the success in the implementation of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030, we will not rest on our laurels and will be more focused and determined towards the realization of our vision by 2030,” the region’s police chief said.
